This product was very easy to use and, when prepared properly (Sprayed with Pam), & cleaned up easily. However, it was my understanding that one of the advantages to the separater was to have "outside" edges on each piece. Except for the real outside pieces, the edges were sort of "cakey" or softer, rather than firmer or crispy. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the way they came out but I was looking forward to those outside edges all around.I will certainly continue to use it and nex time, I think I'll make a bananna nut cake and see how that comes out. 3 parts to this pan so instead of cleaning one pan you clean 3. Ok, I figured this could be an issue so I won't diss the product for that.
What I will say is, the piece that separates the brownies has many corners that are difficult to clean. There is also the hanger like piece of metal along the sides where you can find pieces of brownies stuck between that and the pan itself.
No where on the box it says, diswasher safe but if it was it would be a God send.
I received this as a gift. For this reason it's good b/c it's a luxury item I would never buy myself. I mean I had a brownie cutter called a knife that did a good job. I'm just warning you, be ready to clean the nooks and crannies.
Customer Review: Makes perfect squares, but hard brownies

I recently bought the brownie pan, and tried it twice.
The first time, it made perfect squares, but unfortunately after baking, the brownies became hard like cookies(over-baked). This is due to the slicer baking each brownie on its sides. So it would be like baking a 2" x 2" pan instead of the 9" x 9".
Second time, I just reduced the baking time from 45 min as instructed to 35 min. It was better, but it needed a bit more time.
So it will need a bit of trial and error.
Other than that, it's great. Cleans easily.
