This lasagna pan is so much more than I had expected, I figured it would work fine for lasagna, but I am so impressed with the over all quality of this item. I have tons of pots and pans and more baking dishes than most...but, this takes the cake ! My husband had some lasagna for lunch, right after I made it and then guess what he wanted for dinner ? You got it, he wanted the lasagna for dinner too. He loves italian food and this made it so simple and easy to prepare. The noodles fit perfectly, the upper lip of the pan keeps the mess inside the pan and it cleans up so well ( I actually cleaned it myself)..something I dont do if I have help, cause I dont like to scrub, and you dont have to. Just so you know, I wondered how many boxes of lasagna noodles this would take if I used the whole pan... I bought two boxes, but not to worry.. it takes just one full box for all three sections. My husband even helped me build the lasagna...that it in itself is a miracle. He said it looked like fun, and it was. The cooking time wasnt bad either, I did mine for 30 minutes covered with foil, and 10 more minutes without the foil. Fantastic pan, cant say enough about it. Buy it, yes, its a little expensive, but in the end, so worth it. Its a specialty pan, but can be used for other stuff too.. Im going to make cakes in it soon. Imagine the smaller slices of cake..just the right size for after a big meal. The spatula is worth its weight in gold too. Can you tell Im more than satisified ? You bet I am. This is one fun pan.
