Customer Review: Finally, Quality and No Non-Stick Coating...

Chicago Metallic has produced an excellent quality product which does not have a non-stick coating and which sells for a reasonable price. The Chicago Metallic Commercial II Traditional products, if this small jelly roll pan is any indication, fill this baker's need for high quality baking pans which are not coated with a non-stick substance. The metal is thick, the edges nicely rounded, and there are no corner seams in which food may lodge or which may leak. The surface of the pan is smooth; the Chicago Metallic "brand" is located in one corner of the pan and is relatively small.
I like the fact that Chicago Metallic has produced a high quality product which sells for a reasonable price. Many of the better uncoated pans I have seen are outrageously priced and just not realistic for purchase by most individuals. Personally, I do not think spending over $100 for a baking pan is a good use of resources.
This pan is just the right size for our household; my spouse likes cookies that are fresh so I bake 3 - 6 at a time. I am sure I will find other uses for my small jelly roll pan as time goes by. Additionally, I plan on purchasing other pans in this product line. I only wish the pans were manufactured in the United States instead of in China.
Without a doubt, this is a five-star product. If you are looking for high quality, reasonable prices, and uncoated bakeware, you will not be disappointed with the Chicago Metallic Commercial II Traditional Uncoated line.
