How nice to have a quality, reasonably priced product that does exactly what it was designed to do. Made my first batch of baguettes yesterday using the basic French Bread technique from Peter Reinherdt's Artisan Breads Every Day. Made 3 perfect baguettes - absolutely delicious. I dropped a floured cloth over the pan and let the baguettes rise right in the pan, then transfered the loaves directly to the pan before baking. Set the pan on a baking stone which had preheated for about an hour. The end result was three perfect baguettes - no sticking at all on the pan, perfectly crisp crust all the way around the baguette. Flavour was great. This product is highly recommended.
